Lender Solutions Expert Timothy Buss Joins NAI Global Special Asset Solutions Team as Senior VP
NAI Global, the world’s premier network of commercial real estate
firms and one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide,
today announced that Timothy P. Buss, CCIM, has joined its team as
Senior Vice President, Special Asset Solutions.
Buss will be focused on developing new business and overseeing
service delivery to lenders and special servicers with distressed assets
and REO. NAI Global’s Special Asset Solutions team leverages NAI’s
expertise across the full spectrum of commercial real estate services--
asset management, property management, leasing, valuation and
disposition--to provide clients with easy access to all of the services
an asset is likely to require throughout the ownership cycle.
According to NAI Global President & CEO Jeffrey M. Finn, Buss’
hiring adds depth to an NAI Special Asset Solutions team that currently
serves as preferred provider for dispositions for one of the world’s
largest banks and handles asset disposition and loan sales for many
other national, regional and community banks. “With his background as a
banker, bank examiner and real estate services provider, Tim brings a
unique perspective that is particularly valuable in helping lenders work
through the complex problems in their troubled credit and REO
portfolios,” Finn stated.
Buss most recently was a Senior Vice President in the Asset
Management division at NAI Hiffman, NAI’s Chicago affiliate, where he
established and led the firm’s Lender Solutions Group. Prior to joining
NAI Hiffman, Buss logged more than 10 years of experience in the
banking/financial services industry including senior level positions at
Lehman Brothers and Boatmen’s Bank/NationsBank and two years as
Assistant Bank Examiner with FDIC. From 1997 to 2005, Buss also held
various executive positions in Corporate Services and was a principal in
Trammel Crow Co.
Buss will be based in Dallas, Texas.
